I loved THE CORRS from the beginning. 1998-99 was their peak. Such a lovely band. They blended pop with traditional celtic music (The band consists of 4 Irish siblings) to reach a global audience. Now disbanded. Yet listening to this after a while, makes me think, few good songs are better than a life long musical career of mediocrity.
Fusion team is spellbound by this song, including me - Teri Meri from Bodyguard (Hindi, 2011) sound track. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal in full throttle. Final verdict : Enjoy the song, but don’t watch the movie. (Tip: Udara)
SWEET CHILD OF MINE This is one of my few all time best songs. And I am sharing this wonderful unplugged version from 2010. Yes…Slash from 2010, it’s antique stuff. Getting better with time - priceless.
Rock On (2008) is a must see. I know, I am late to watch this. Yet, better late than never. Bollywood is full of trash now, and this one is a gem. Good news: there’s a plan for a sequal. Story is blended nicely to Indian rock music. Shankar-Ehsan-Loy is good on music. Farhan Akhtar is making a dream debut ...

Times have changed, so is my blogging pattern. There were times I posted 2 blogs a day, now even 2 per month is a luxury. I have weighed excuses on not having time due to excess work. My heart yearns to blog, yet finding topics to blog is difficult. All this boils down to not having quality time to think and ...
I suggest you to see this interview with Sunil Perera. I agree with him. These are things we want to speak, but afraid of. You may not agree with me. (I agree to disagree with you) That’s where the diversity begins. INTERVIEW WITH SUNIL PERERA
A week back, we were talking about millennials. (Millennials are people who are born between 1980 and 2000, according to wikipedia ) I was born in 1981, and as I can see, I’m a split among generation Y (the millennials) and Generation X (people born between 1960-1980) Why? I have the aspirations and tastes of both Generation X and Y. ...
Rahman and Mick Jagger forming a band ? This is too good to be true. The band “Super heavy” has actually got together in 2011. What I like about Rahman is his audacity to break his comfort zones. Absolute pleasure to listen.
