A walk on the wild side....

Last week a journey to Dodanduwa. Left Colombo by 5.30 and down the highway to turn off at Baddegana junction.Shailabimbarama Temple has an extraordinary collection of temple murals/paintings. I was back in Colombo by 4 that afternoon. More pictures can be seen on the web site.

Just before you turn right for the Anuradhapura road, the Ashraf Hotel has the best egg hoppers, prawn curry, samosas and a fine collection of 'chicken parts'.... Enjoy!
