Is this art? This picture of a cottage in Browns Beach Hotel reminds me of paintings by Mark Rothko. Rothko used color and simple shapes in his work that can be best described as abstraction plus surrealism. Each cottage had a different bright colored paint that didn’t match with the surrounding. But i like the artist who did it, perhaps he was inspired by Rothko.

Out of Control During a (Off Roading ) 4x4 rally it is easy to loose control of a jeep. Sometime the race marshals too loose control of spectators and they come dangerously close to the action. This deer , a survivor of a leopard attack, was tied near the Mee tree (in the earlier post about Carmi Elan). Taken in 2010. When we visited in 2011 we heard he didn’t survive.
