Four more games of the SLC Major Clubs T20 Tournament were held today (30th May), at NCC and CCC Grounds in Colombo.
Ace Capital CC vs Kurunegala YCC
Ace Capital Cricket Club secured a comfortable 62-run by beating Kurunegala Youth CC at CCC Grounds in Colombo.
After putting Ace Capital CC to bat first, they managed to post 190/7 in the 20 overs. Opening batsman Thanuka Dabare stroked a fifty, while Dilanka Auwardt bagged 4/36 with the ball.
However, Kurunegala YCC was unable to get anywhere close to the target as they posted only 128/6 by handing a comfortable win for their oppositions.
Sinhalese SC vs Tamil Union C & AC
Tamil Union C & AC secured a thrilling win against Sinhalese Sports Club by 4 wickets at NCC Grounds in Colombo.
After having won the toss, Tamil Union C & AC invited SSC to bat first. Avishka Fernando and Krishan Sanjula stroked half-centuries as SSC posted 178 by losing just one wicket.
Tamil Union C & AC somehow pulled off a thrilling win courtesy of Isuru Udana’s 10-ball 28*. Earlier, Navod Paranavithana smashed a 24-ball 56, while Prabath Jayasuriya picked 3/17.

Bloomfield C & AC vs Colts CC
Colts CC beat Bloomfield C & AC by 3 wickets to win their first game at CCC Grounds in Colombo.
After asking to bat first, Bloomfield C & AC posted 171/9, with Ashan Fernando scoring a fifty while Udith Madushan, Muditha Lakshan, Dhananjaya Lakshan and Akila Dananjaya bagging a couple of wickets each.
Colts CC reached their target off the last ball to clinch a thriller. Jehan Daniel was the star with the bat as he played a superb knock of 82 off just 43.
Sebastianites C & AC vs Ragama CC
Sebastianites C & AC registered a 14-run win over Ragama CC at NCC Grounds in Colombo.
After opting to bat first, Sebastianites C & AC posted 154/6 in their 20 overs. Sachitha Jayathilake was their top scorer with 63 runs, while Isiwara Dissanayake also stroked a fifty.
Ragama CC was unable to chase that down and only managed to get 140/9. Charith Rajapaksha bagged 4/30, while Chamikara Edirisinghe picked 3/12 as well.
