Roshan Mahanama resigns from Technical Advisory Committee

Former Sri Lankan Cricketer and match Referee Roshan Mahanama has resigned from his position in the Sri Lanka Cricket Technical Advisory Committee.  

Mahanama has reportedly taken this decision as he is set tow work with the Pakistan Cricket Board in the near future.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa appointed a Technical Advisory Committee last year in order to advise the minister, ministry officials and the National Sports Council on all matters related to Sri Lanka Cricket.

The committee is headed by former Sri Lankan Cricket legend Aravinda de Silva, while it comprises Sri Lankan cricket stalwarts Roshan Mahanama, Muttiah Muralitharan and Kumar Sangakkara.

The committee was assigned to work closely with the SLC in order to uplift standards of domestic and national cricket in Sri Lanka and to achieve a sustainable high standard in cricket.
