SLC announce date and venue for SL Legends & national team exhibition game

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced today that an exhibition match between Sri Lanka National Men’s Cricket Team and the Sri Lanka Legends team will be held on 5th May at Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium.   

Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa had earlier proposed conducting an exhibition match between the Sri Lanka legends team and current national team.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed the date and venue for this match during the media briefing held today to announce the newly appointed management committee to run SLC until the election of the cricket board is held.

SLC also confirmed that spectators will be allowed to watch the match at the grounds.

Meanwhile, SLC have decided to allow media to cover the upcoming Bangladesh tour of Sri Lanka from the venue while not permitting spectators to enter the grounds.
