Sri Lanka T20I skipper Dasun Shanaka is set to leave for West Indies on Sunday as his visa issue has been resolved.
Shanaka will leave for West Indies via France on Sunday as his visa to France was processes today as an alternative for the delayed USA visa.
Shanaka couldn’t travel to West Indies with the national team as he missed the scheduled flight due to a visa issue.

He had lost one of his passports in 2018, which had a USA visa stamped on for five years. Though Shanaka has a new passport to travel overseas, the, new USA visa has not been issued yet for it.

Shanaka will be available for selections from the second ODI of the West Indies series. Sri Lanka departed for West Indies to take part in 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
