This is my first attempt at documenting my travels through video and not only photo. Mind you I have zero videography experience. I am eager for feedback, but also excited to share a richer exposure to my island paradise.

On January 6th, we head out from Morawaka to Siripade. We climbed the 2234m mountain all night, and participated in the “Ira Sevaya”(worship of the Sacred footprint by the Sun god.) After climbing down the next morning, we continued directly to Passikudah on the East Coast. Spending two nights there, we proceeded down to Arugambay for one night before returning home by the 10th.

It was a short 4 day tour but to places I had not seen before. The all night hike, to stand atop the mountain, all 6 of us, for the first time, was  worth the aching legs for the next couple of days. And the days spent at the beach, in the ocean was certainly good for our tired muscles.  A beaut of a trip for sure!
