City Lights

I still remember that day

When I held you close

Looking at the city lights

We were content

We were happy

We were in love

But I knew at that moment

That you will go away

One day

Just like everyone else

And as I predicted

Now it is just me today

Standing alone

Looking at the city lights

I am content

I am happy

But I am not in love
