I am Rohana Priyal Weerasinghe. I was born on the 6^th of May, 1980 in Zoysa Hospital, Colombo. I think that day my parents were very happy. After my birth they took me to the house which was a sheltered with coconut leaves. After few days an incident took place in my house. It was terrible. My house was totally burnt and everything was destroyed. The reason to this was my elder brother took the clothes which my mother kept outside to dry and he through it to the hearth. At that time my brother was two years old. At this moment everyone panicked and they forgot me. At the last moment my mother came and took me out. I know this because my mother told me when I was young.

My mother is a housewife. She has worked as a housemaid in Singapore for five years. My father is an electrician. Now he is self-employed. Before he worked at Majestic Electric Company in Kollupity. I have only one brother. He is elder than me. He works in Yemen as a supervisor at Toyota Company. He visits Sri Lanka once a year. His family stays in Sri Lanka. He has one son.

 I went to Webada South Maha Viddyalaya from grade one to O/L. When I was in grade 10 I was the Head Prefect in the school. I had few close friends in that period. Most of the time we played after school and also on holydays. I went to Bandaranayke College for doing my A/L. Those days we went to cinema without going to class. After A/L, I followed a computer course in Samadhi Institute, Gampha. Those days my brother had an A\C repairing workshop. I also went there in my leisure time. At that time my girlfriend’s cousin worked at Suntel and I could join Suntel through his contact as a technician. At the same period I had a communication shop of my own. It was in Kadawatha. My girlfriend looked after it. We got married at that period. The wedding was on 16^th October in 2008. I sold the goods in the shop I had and handed over the shop to the owner. The closest reason for this was my wife got pregnant. In 2010 my wife delivered a baby girl. Her name is Sanithya Dinendi Weerasinghe. She is three years old now. I love my daughter very much and my wife too. We live happily.
