Madduma bandara  was born in sri lanka .his father was ehelepola nilame.his mother was ehelepola kumari hami.he had one bother and one sister.elder brother was loku bandara .he was not breve as maddumabandara.he sacrified his life to save his father family and country.he did not frighten when the king ordered to the man cold in red to kill him.he was a child  hood.
