This is very bad Process.Paddy straw is very good organic fertilizer and it gives Potassium and Silicon nutrients mainly.Department of Agriculture in Srilanka Dont recommended this process.Some farmers burn paddy straw because they believe that process help to easy land preparation.

In this season we can see lot of farmers in Srilanka used this machine for harvest there paddy.This is the picture of the class model large type combined harvester. I think its very easy to use for farmers and reduce paddy havest cost.
