Kurunegala Youth CC vs Kalutara Physical Culture Club
Kurunegala Youth CC had a terrible day with the bat in their match against Kalutara PCC at the Surrey Grounds. They won the toss and elected to bat first but were bundled out cheaply for just 197 in 55.4 overs with Ramesh Selvaraj taking a six-for for the boys from down south. The centurion from the last match, Hashan Prabath top scored with a brilliant 82 for Kurunegala Youth CC.
In reply, Kalutara PCC were 143 for 6 in 34 overs.

SL Air Force SC vs Lankan Cricket Club
Air Force SC posted 230 runs all out in their first innings against Lankan Cricket Club at Army Grounds, Panagoda. Air Force suffered an innings defeat last week against SL Ports after a horrible performance with the bat, but this time around they did a much better job after they were asked to bat first by the Lankans. Achira Eranga top scored with 53 while there were good cameos by Ranga Dissanayake, Lahiru Sri Lakmal and Hashan James. Navin Kavikara took a five-for with the ball for Lankan CC.
In reply at stumps on Day 1, Lankan CC were 30 for 1 in 15 overs.

Navy SC vs Police SC
Kusal Edusuriya scored an unbeaten 133 for Navy as they reached 289 for 7 at stumps on Day 1 against Police SC after they were asked to bat first. Kusal’s 231 ball knock had 18 boundaries and 1 maximum. Buddika Hasaranga and he put together 102 runs for the 4th wicket which included a valuable half century from Buddika. Suwanjia Madanayake bagged 3 for 76 runs for the Cops.
