St Servatius College VS St Joseph Vaz College
Joseph Vaz could only manage to secure first innings points in their match against St Servatius College today. Joseph Vaz resumed play on the second day with 125 runs on board with 4 wickets in hand. Nipun Dhananjaya was unbeaten on 40 and he went on to score 54 runs for his team. However they were bowled out for 197 runs with Charith Harshana’s six wickets for St Servatius.
St. Servatius had to do better than they did in the first innings which they did in their second innings. Isuru Udayanga scored a resolute 57 for St Servatius as they posted 178 in 64.5 overs. Dhanushka Niranjan took a five-for for Joseph Vaz. At stumps on day 2, St Joseph Vaz was 7 for no loss

Malinga Amarasingha’s blistering 91 saw Nalanda College register first innings points against Dharmashoka College, Amabalangoda. Dharmashoka resumed play at 116 runs on board with 6 wickets in hand. But they lost all six wickets for just 43 runs. Madushan Hasaranga bagged 4 wickets for just 17 runs for the Nalandians.
