The 4th quarter final of the Singer U-15 Cricket tournament was played between Holy Cross College, Kalutara and Nalanda College, Colombo in Horana.

Holy Cross started positively after winning the toss and choosing to bat first with Umayanga Suwaris stroking a sublime 44. The score steadily climbed as Sheran Fonseka hit a fabulous 92 and Pathum Darshana supported him with a commendable 38. The Nalanda boys showed their might with back to back wickets as the lower middle order batsmen were dismissed cheaply. Few valuable contributions from the tail end ensured that Holy Cross would post a challenging total of 249. Jithesh Wasala starred with the ball bagging 4 wickets for 38 runs and Ashen Walisundara took 2 for 18.

Nalanda were able to see through the day with the loss of only one wicket as they ended up at 53/1 in 16 overs. Avishka Perera single-handedly scored almost all the runs and remained unbeaten on 48.
