The 6th day of Inter-Internationals started with teams from Group A, C and D battling it out, let’s take a look at the games played yesterday.

Royal Institute vs. Lyceum Int.School Wattala

The Lyceum boys won the toss in the 10 over match and chose to bowl. RI started with the bat and since the game was very short, they had to play steady and put up a decent target. However, they only managed to get 51/7 at the end of their 10 overs. The Lyceum-ites have a strong batting line-up and they played some great shots to easily chase down the target in 7.4 overs scoring 54/5.

Lyceum International School Nugegoda vs. Burhani Serandib School

Lyceum Nugegoda won the toss and chose to bat first.  Their main idea was to have a strong target and get as much as runs as possible in what was another 10 over game. With a steady batting line up they made 82/4 at the end of 10 overs. The Burhani campaign didn’t look good with the bat in the second innings.  Early wickets stalled their chase and they made just 52 as they were all out in 9.5 overs.

Lyceum International School, Ratnapura vs. Gateway College, Colombo

The Gateway College boys from Colombo won the toss and chose to field first. Lyceum Panadura didn’t look impressive with the bat as they lost a few early wickets. They were bowled out in 28.4 overs scoring only 81 runs. It was a very small target for the Gateway boys and with a good batting line up they started well. They suffered a minor collapse however they managed to get to 82 in 23.2 overs losing 8 wickets.
