Asian, British and Lyceum Panadura record important wins

The third day of the Inter-international started off with these teams from Group A and two teams from group ‘B’ playing against their group teams. Below is a brief look on the matches played yesterday.

Colombo International School vs. Asian International School

Asian won the toss and chose to bowl first. They managed to put their opponents C.I.S on immense pressure by bowling well.  CIS was bowled out for just 87 runs in 27.4 overs. The Asian boys fared well in both batting and bowling by easily scoring 92 in 13.2 overs with 6 wickets in hand.

Lyceum International School Panadura vs. OKI International School

Winning the toss and making a good decision having a powerful set of batsmen in the top order, Lyceum Panadura had an excellent start with boundaries and sixes. They managed to get 228/6 in the end of 30 overs. It was a tough target for the OKI batsmen as they lost many wickets and started feeling the pressure. OKI were all out for 146 in 28.2 overs. Lyceum Panadura won by 82 runs.

Wycherley International School vs. British School

Wycherley won the toss and started off the innings by putting up a decent total. They were bowled out in 29.5 overs managing to put 177 to the scoreboard. British had a good batting order to pass that target and easily overhauled the target in 27.4 overs scoring 178 and winning by 4 wickets.
