We think this is the single Orry is working on for the comp and it sure sounds like its hit material already from a very commercial, top 40 POV!

Austria have competed in the Eurovision Song Contest forty eight times and have won the contest on two occasions: Udo Jürgens’ ‘Merci, Chérie’  (1966) and more recently with Conchita Wurst’s ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’ in 2014. Until Conchita’s win (and since) Austria have fallen short, only having qualified for 4 finals since 2004. Austria have finished last on eight occasions and have received nul points four times: 1962, 1988, 1991 and last year when the MakeMakes failed to makemake a lasting impression on Europe with ‘I Am Yours’.

A competition entitled ‘Wer singt für Österreich?’ (or ‘Who Will Sing For Austria?’) will see ten acts perform for the Austrian public’s consideration and a jury of experts. Nine of these acts will be chosen by Eberhard Forcher an industry expert, while the final act will be chosen through a Facebook wildcard selection. The nine acts were announced on 12 January 2016. Voting for the Wildcard entry closed on 14 January, it was announced that AzRaH will join the other nine competitors in the live televised final on 12 February. – Source eurovisionni
