* Sri Lanka's former Education Minister Bandula Gunawardana's piano deal urged to be probed

Ceylon Teachers' Union complained to the Ministry of Education to probe the way the former Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardana offered pianos belonged to the Ministry to a private nursery network.

Three thousand pianos were offered to the Ministry of Education by the Korean government.

Minister Bandula Gunawardana has given 35 pianos to Carlton pre-school network, a private entity run by Shiranthi Rajapaksa the wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
