since I’m a buddhist everything i saw around made me remind of teaching of Lord buddha, that we are a reflection of our merits and since done by our selves.
Helpless and cute kids were all around and i could feel my heart melting inside and all sensitive people in tears. It was the health camp together with “Down syndrome day celebration” organized by Rotract club : Rotract district 3220 at Royal college premises.
They were born that way and they couldnt help it.Even though its hard for us to see the spiritual reason for them to be born like that I simply though of educating you with biological information about down syndrome.
Down syndrome is a chromosomal condition that is associated with intellectual disability, a characteristic facial appearance, and weak muscle tone in infancy.

you might be wondering what is a chromosome.

In the nucleus of each cell, the DNA molecule is packaged into thread-like structures called chromosomes. Each chromosome is made up of DNA tightly coiled many times around proteins called histones that support its structure

Down syndrome is usually caused by an error in cell division called “nondisjunction.” results trisomy 21, which means each cell in the body has three copies of chromosome 21 instead of the usual two copies.
Less commonly, Down syndrome occurs when part of chromosome 21 becomes attached (translocated) to another chromosome during the formation of reproductive cells (eggs and sperm) in a parent or very early in fetal development. This additional genetic material alters the course of development and causes the characteristics associated with Down syndrome.
People with Down syndrome have an increased risk for certain medical conditions such as congenital heart defects, respiratory and hearing problems, Alzheimer’s disease, childhood leukemia, and thyroid conditions. Many of these conditions are now treatable, so most people with Down syndrome lead healthy lives.
A few of the common physical traits of Down syndrome are low muscle tone, small stature, an upward slant to the eyes, and a single deep crease across the center of the palm. Every person with Down syndrome is a unique individual and may possess these characteristics to different degrees or not at all.
Life expectancy for people with Down syndrome has increased dramatically in recent decades – from 25 in 1983 to 60 today.
The incidence of births of children with Down syndrome increases with the age of the mother. But due to higher fertility rates in younger women, 80% of children with Down syndrome are born to women under 35 years of age.

They cannot help them whom they have born. They are born with special needs. They are the angels who makes us realise who we are and what we should do in our lives. We with all sensors are the one s who should help them with so much of love and care.

They are extra cute with their extra chromosome.

At the end of the day I was happy whom I’v born. And it made me realise its not money or any physical things we should collect in our life but good deeps and good qualities.Always spread love and care and help the world more and more.
Fill you mind with compassion.Be a fountain of love. That’s what remains for us at the end.
