History does not repeat, it rhymes

KOHLIFIED (qualified)

I really had no chance to watch live cricket for about 6 months. But yesterday at Barnesbury on TV, Virat Kohli came to bat when India was 179-1 chasing 351. few days back I heard  India had chased 350+ courtesy a 52 ball century by Kohli. I shrugged it off, may be a flash in the pan.

Then yesterday I witnessed this man do it again. A 61 ball century ended in a 115 from 66 balls. Really, that was a sight.

It was not slogging, not even close. I could feel that he had cleared his mind what to do, the moment he was on the ground. Confidence, emotional intelligence, charisma, focus, patience, building momentum when needed, you name anything, this guy had it.

Chasing 350+ is a rare feet, only a handful in history. India has done it twice with in a week, with Kohli.

I had reservations for Kohli for his nonsensical aggressiveness and arrogance. They all are pardoned. Enjoyed a game after a long time, and was inspired, and took some cues, on how to handle pressure and deliver.

Cheers !
