song bird…clamorous reed warbler. Breeds from Egypt eastwards through Pakistan, Afghanistan and northernmost India to south China, southeast Asia and south to Australia. There is also an endemic race in Sri Lanka.

Painted Pair.  I have only seen just the male bird before (Larger Bird- Males and females appear alike but the males of a pair are usually larger than the female[wiki] ). It seems the painted stork has found a mate..

Pelican in Flight. This guy is a common sight around the lake near Diyawanna gardens Thalawathugoda.

A little cormorant with a big fish. Three  Little Cormorant were there . when one caught a fish he quickly flew off. Others took flight in pursuit.
